On Saturday, June 1, 2013, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic will return to the beautiful Liberty State Park for one of the most highly-anticipated events of the season.

Guests are invited to watch world-renowned polo player and event co-host Nacho Figueras and his team, Black Watch, go head-to-head against some of the best polo players in the world. Glasses and bottles of Veuve Clicquot will be on sale, and guests can enjoy food from the area’s most beloved gourmet food trucks.

Just a stone’s throw away from Manhattan, Liberty State Park offers spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Last fall, the park sustained significant damage due to Hurricane Sandy. In an effort to return Liberty State Park to its former beauty and prepare for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in June, Veuve Clicquot is re-planting and landscaping a large green area of the park, and is proud to make it this year’s event beneficiary in order to aid in its overall reconstruction.

Tickets to attend the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic are $40, and include admission as well as round-trip ferry transportation from Battery Park in Manhattan or shuttle service from the New Jersey Transit Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, Liberty State Park Station. Tickets must be purchased in advance; there will be no opportunity to purchase tickets onsite. Tickets for last year’s event went fast, so get yours today!
